Departments of Aerospace, Applied Mechanics, Biotechnology, Chemical, Chemistry, Civil, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical, Engineering Design, Humanities and Social Sciences, Management Studies, Mathematics, Mechanical, Metallurgical and Materials, Ocean and Physics, for various PhD programmes for the forth coming academic session of January – May 2014 at Indian Institute if Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai.

Opportunities also exist to do joint Ph.D. between IITM-NUS, Singapore. Joint Ph.D. programme is also offered by IIT Madras, SCTIMST, Trivandrum and CMC, Vellore in the area of Biomedical Devices and Technology.

Online Application Procedure:
Candidates must apply online through the website http://research.iitm.ac.in/. Admission Brochure can be found at the same.
  • Students who are in their 4th year of B.Tech. programme can apply and book their research admission for July 2014 at IIT Madras Right Now.
  • Reservation is applicable as per Govt. of India rules to SC/ ST/ OBC/ Persons with Disabilities (PD) candidates.
