Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) invites applications for the admission of PhD Program to the academic year. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on or before 16-12-2013. Application form is available at www.iist.ac.in. For Applicants with Masters Degree in Engineering should have first class or equivalent in the Masters and Bachelors degrees. They should have possess Master degree based on GATE score. Candidates with MS in Engineering or equivalent from foreign Universities with good academic record (or) MS by Research with excellent academic back ground can be considered without GATE. Candidates with Integrated MS degree in Engineering from IIT and IISc with minimum CGPA 9.0/10 can be taken without GATE score.

Candidate must have Masters Degree in the particular stream with first class or equivalent in their Masters and Bachelors degree. They must have qualified for UGC/CSIR NET -JRF (or) NET-Lectureship or GATE qualified in the concerned disciplines.

Excellent and outstanding candidates with degree in Engineering with an good academic marks and aptitude for research may be consider for direct admission to the PhD Program. To Such candidates must have secured CGPA of 9.0/10 or above and a valid GATE score of 675 or more. BTech. candidates from IITs with CGPA better than 9.0/10 do not require GATE qualification.

Application Fee: General and OBC Candidates have to take 250/- demand draft (DD) in favour of The Registrar, IIST payable at Thiruvananthapuram. For SC/ST it is 125/-.
